Tear-drop work bag (revised pattern)

Yarn used: Sullivans Knitting & Crochet Cotton in Navy (col. 40230)

Body
Foundation round: ch 5, ss in 5th ch to join.
Round 1: ch 3, 15 tr in ring ss in 3rd ch to join.
Rnd 2: ch 3, 1 tr in same st, [2tr in nxt tr] to end of rnd, ss in 3rd ch to join.
Rnd 3: ch 3, 2 tr in nxt st, [1 tr in nxt st, 2 tr in nxt st] to end of rnd, ss in 3rd ch to join.
Rnd 4: ch 3, 1 tr in nxt st, 2 tr in nxt st, [2 tr in nxt 2 sts, 2 tr in nxt st] to end of rnd, ss in 3rd ch to join.
Rnd5: ch 3, 2 tr in nxt 2 sts, 2 tr in nxt st, [3 tr in nxt 3 sts, 2 tr in nxt st] to end of rnd, ss in 3rd ch to join.
Rnd 6: ch 3, 3 tr in nxt 3 sts, 2 tr in nxt st, [4 tr in nxt 4 sts, 2 tr in nxt st] to end of rnd, ss in 3rd ch to join.
Rnds 7-21: ch 3, 1 tr in each st to end of rnd, ss in ch to join.
Rnd 22-5: ch 1, 1 dc in each st to end of rnd, ss in ch to join.
Rnd 26: ch 3, 1 tr in each of nxt 4 sts, [ch 2, skip 2 sts, 1 tr in each of nxt 10 sts] to end of rnd, ss in 3rd ch to join.
Rnds 27-30: ch 1, 1 dc in each st to end of rnd, ss in ch to join.
Fasten off, weave in all ends.

Cord: Holding two strands together, ch length 75cm + 1 ch (for turning). Ss into 2nd ch from hook and into every ch to end of row. Fasten off and weave in all ends.

Assembly: Thread the cord through the 'eyelets' created in rnd 26. The ends of the cord may be knotted together to form handles, if desired.
